Thomas Baynard papers, 1740-1741.

This collection contains a receipt for sixty-seven pounds and four shillings received of Thomas Attwood of Bath by Thomas Baynard, June 16, 1740. This is a payment for a copy of a warrant and the fine for the adding of two lives in reversion of Thomas Clements "of the Manor in Inglescomb." Also in the collection is a letter, dated March 21, 1741, from Thomas Atwood to Thomas Booth, a member of Parliament, protesting the refusal of Thomas Baynard, Steward of the Prince of Wales, to supply a copy of a warrant petition.
